Will Baylies of WKZE radio recently discussed the value of Meals on Wheels and the March for Meals campaign with our President, Mr. Jack Fenton. To listen, click the entry below, which has also been posted on the sidebar. We thank Will for his ongoing support of our organization!
The month of March mobilizes hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs across the country to reach out to their communities and build the support that will enable them to serve America’s seniors all year long. The 17th annual March for Meals campaign gives local businesses, organizations, governments and volunteers who contribute so generously in their communities an opportunity to support homebound seniors in a variety of ways to make America stronger and healthier. This support helps us deliver nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to our local seniors all year long. By volunteering, donating or speaking out, you can ensure the seniors in your neighborhood can live more healthy, happy and independent lives at home, where they want to be. For more information, see: http://www.marchformeals.com/
Stay tuned for more details on the exciting activities we have planned!
